2023-2024 Enrollment

It's time! Our new year is right around the corner.

Zion's Academy is unique in many ways. One is our enrollment period. We enroll for a full calendar year from May 1st-April 30th. This allows us to build friendships through the summer and experience a classroom-like setting together through the regular school months.

This summer, we'll be holding two workshops per month. One will be held in a local park with a variety of topics. The other will be a destination workshop in which we will meet at a designated locale (like NBC Historical Farm or The Butterfly Haven) to learn and explore together. Information can be found in our events tab once enrollment is accepted and complete.

Our family fee is a flat fee of $300 per family per calendar year (May 2023 through April 2024). This fee helps cover costs of monthly date nights, monthly family activities, Thursday gatherings, summer workshops as well as the building, insurance, our website fees and stocking the supply closet. Occasionally, activities have additional cost which is listed on each event, if applicable. When divided out, the family fee comes to $25 per month per family.

We are able to negate many monetary expenses by coordinating and collaborating together. Those who join Zion's Academy contribute to potlucks, lesson supplies, and resources as needed. We've been able to meet so many needs with things we have around our homes. When we work together, we accomplish so much. It's beautiful to be a part of!

New this year:

Mother's Retreat. We are so excited about this! We'll be unplugging and tuning in as we prepare to begin our year of gatherings. We're excited to dive deeper into The Well-Educated Heart, Mother's University and the beauty of motherhood and home education! See event details for more information.

Curiosity Untamed. Once again, by working together, we are able to do something really fun! We'll be recognizing all of the kids (and parents) for the badges they earn each quarter. See the post here for more detailed information.
